ULAP 2007 RESOLUTIONS
Resolution 2007-001
Urging Her Excellency President Gloria Macapaga-Arroyo to cause the NEDA board approval of the Hospital Equipment Assistance Project(HEAP) granted by the Spanish Government for the 21 Provincial Hospitals in the country.
Requesting Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and the Insurance Commission to immediately address the concerns of the Philippine Public School Teachers Association (PPSTA) over the unwarranted interference in its affairs including the elections of PPSTA Officials. Resolution 2007-003
Urging the Department of the Interior and Local Government(DILG) and the office of the Ombudsman to respect the right to due process and rule of law of Local Elective Officials charged with administrative cases, and to be judicious in imposing preventive or punitive suspension against them in all instances. Allocating Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50, 000.00) to the Rizal National Festival of Excellence and augmenting the equivalent contribution of the Province of Bohol of Fifty thousand pesos for the promotion of patriotism, and of the life and works of Dr. Jose P. Requesting the GSIS President and General Manager(PGM) Winston F. Garcia to give GSIS old-age pensioners the option to collect their pensions and other benefits thru checks or ATM E-cards for their convenience and for security considerations.
